Can you live as a fruitarian?

Fruit should be an essential component of your daily diet, as it has many nutritional advantages. But, it’s not a good idea to try to live on fruit alone. Fruitarian diets may have great benefits, but since it relies on only one food group, it lacks many essential nutritional components. For Example, might severely suffer from calcium, protein, zinc and essential fatty acids. A fruitarian diet is excellent to maintain for a few days or weeks if you can make sure you get enough nutrients from it.  It should not be a long term food plan.

  • To avoid having to cook
  • To be “morally superior.”
  • To eat in a way that’s more friendly to the environment

What can you eat as a fruitarian?

Starting from fresh fruits like apple, pears, and banana to Legumes like white beans, brown beans, and black beans. There are also a wide variety of dried fruits, fruit vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds, drinks and fluids that you can eat as part of a fruitarian diet plan. Talk to your dietician first before starting a fruitarian diet.

Fruits to eat anytime

Here are some fruits that you can eat any time to replace high-calorie foods:

  • Banana
  • Lemon juice

  • Coconut
  • Olives (chemical-free)

Can you lose weight eating only fruit?
