What is Diabetes?
Diabetes is a group of metabolic disease in which there are high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. If left untreated, diabetes can cause many complications. Mainly there are two types of diabetes, type one and type two. There is another form of temporary diabetes that occurs during pregnancy. The symptoms of Diabetes include increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue and blurry vision. Unhealthy lifestyle and genetics are the main risk factors for this chronic disease. With proper lifestyle choices, anyone with diabetes can live a long and healthy life.
